New CCO to join national housing association

Home Group has appointed a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Kate Still will support the 56,000-home housing association with its organisational planning, strategy and operational performance.
Kate brings with her a wealth of experience, operating as CEO, MD and COO within several organisations in the health, housing, social care, development and construction sectors over the past five years.
As a holistic transformation specialist, Kate spent six months as MD of B&D Reside – reviewing the largest LA housing delivery company in the UK. She also joined care and retirement village development and construction group, Castleoak as a consultant and then COO as it grappled with the challenges for the care sector during the Covid crisis.
Prior to that Kate spent three years as COO of Citizen Housing Group (formerly WM Housing Group), where she delivered the single target operating model which created Citizen as a unified organisation, brought efficiency savings, improved brand values and behaviours, and oversaw a multitude of successful new policies across the organisation.
Kate joined Citizen Housing Group from Sanctuary Group where she spent six years, leaving as National Housing Operations Director for England at the 80,000 home provider.
Kate is also Chair of Thrive Homes UK, a medium sized association in the south of England.

Their consistency over the last decade of continuing to focus on the broad role social housing providers can play in supporting social mobility and equity in a holistic person-centred way, aligns strongly with my own core purpose.

Kate joins Home Group in early September.
