Home Group to deliver affordable homes in sought-after part of Cumbria

Housing association Home Group has secured six new affordable homes on a development outside of Kendal.
The new homes at Wyredale Road will provide much-needed affordable housing on a larger 27-home development.
Four two-bedroom homes will be made available for social rent, while a further two three-bedroom homes will be available for shared ownership.
As Section 106 homes, allocations will be handled through Lancaster City Council’s policy.
David Armstrong, Senior Development and Delivery Manager at Home Group said: “We are thrilled to have secured these homes on the Wyredale Road development.
“There is a significant need for affordable housing across Cumbria, and schemes like this ensures we can provide homes for local people on larger schemes housebuilders are delivering.”
