Housing association named as a top workplace for women for seventh year

One of the UK’s largest housing associations has been named among the top ten best places to work for women in the UK for a seventh consecutive year.

Home Group has placed 8th in the UK’s Best Workplace for Women, as part of the 2026 Great Places to Work survey.

It is the second year in a row the housing association has held this spot, with Home Group having scored in the top 10 places each year since the category began in 2019.

The Best Workplace awards were created by Great Places to Work, with the aim to help businesses create high performing workplaces where employees feel valued and trusted.

The award recognises the best super large, large, medium, and small workplaces in the UK.

Home Group were the highest placed housing association across all of the categories, as well as one of the best performing organisations to have a head office in the North East of England.
