Home Group delivers 22 affordable homes in Lake District

Housing association Home Group has delivered 22 new much-needed affordable homes in the heart of the Lake District.
The new homes in Ambleside are a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes to meet the varied needs locally.
It has been built as a land-led scheme, meaning the new homes have been designed and built specifically to Home Group’s requirements. This will ensure they deliver high quality affordable housing which meets local need.
Once completed, the new homes will be allocated to local people in line with the Lake District’s local occupancy policies.
David Armstrong, Senior Development and Delivery Manager at Home Group said: “We are delighted to be able to deliver these new homes in Ambleside.
“Being a land-led scheme, we have been able to work with our contractor to make sure they are designed and built exactly as we need. We are excited to see our first customers move in later this year.”
