May money saving ideas
Hi, I'm Josh. I'm part of the financial inclusion team here at Home Group. We give customers free, one to one support on all money matters.
We know it’s hard at the moment. Here are some things I'll be doing this month to help my money go further:
- Try a 24 hour media detox: The cost of living crisis is big news. But negative stories in the media can affect how we feel. Stop doomscrolling and take time every day to do something that makes you happy. Here are ten mood-boosting ideas to get you started.
- Make a spending plan: A spending plan shows you how much money you have going in and out each month. It will help you to keep on top of your money, and maybe even save a little. Read our budgeting for beginners guide.
- Try 10 money saving ideas: Martin Lewis has put together a cost of living survival guide, with 90 great ideas. If that's too much, why not challenge yourself to try 10 and then a few more the next week.
There's lots more info below, so keep scrolling.
