We're hiring part time, full time and bank support workers in Norfolk
Join our brilliant team supporting customers to live happy, healthy lives in their own home
We have opportunities for confident, positive people to join our Norfolk Transforming Care team. We are recruiting both permanent support worker roles and flexible bank workers.
You will support one of our six customers in Norfolk. These rewarding roles help customers live independent, happy lives in their own homes.
You will also support with health and therapy appointments, and leisure and exercise activities.
Our customers have complex needs, including:
- Learning disabilities
- Mental health needs
- Autism
You will be there to support customers who display behaviours that challenge. Some customers may need support with personal care and complex physical health needs.
If a customer has a car you may need to drive them to appointments and activities. We do pay your expenses if you want to use your own car for this purpose.

About the team
You’ll be joining Home Group’s Norfolk transforming care teams. We have bases in:
- North Walsham
- Taverham
- Easton
The majority of your role will be with one customer, in their own home. There will be opportunities to work with other customers too, if you wish to.
There are lots to get involved with. From supporting customers to achieve their hopes, to working with bespoke care plans. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference to someone's life.
About you
We are looking for people who have worked in a similar role, in a supported housing environment.
You must be happy to provide personal care and have experience of helping customers reach their potential.
You will have a great understanding of:
- Professional boundaries
- Risk assessments
- Support your customer to enjoy the best quality of life
Ideally, you will hold a Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
When you join, you will need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. We will pay for this if you do not have one.
