Customer involvement highlights

At Home Group our customers are at the heart of everything we do. That means that we regularly engage with our customers across England and Scotland.
From July to September, we engaged with a total of 908 customers who had their say on a range of topics and the way we do things.
Equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging
During a recent Life Swap, some of our customers shared their stories on ageing in the LGBTQ plus community at the TPAS tenant engagement specialists diversity summit.
Recruitment and induction
A number of customers helped us recruit over ten different roles over the last three months. This included a new head of resourcing and onboarding, as well as a new data protection manager.
Our customers also got involved with our staff inductions at our Newcastle office where they shared stories about their involvement and how it impacted them as a customer.
Community engagement
In the North West, the Distington club for young people hosted a school’s out for summer fun day and a cook and play fun day at Ewanrigg in Maryport. We also had customers get involved with a litter pick, planting and paint giveaway at Auction Mart in Kendal. It was great to see our communities so involved and having fun.
