Our Royal Drive development consists of 26, two and three bedroom homes, built using innovative modular construction.

Working with contractor Ashcroft and industry leader in offsite modular manufacturing, ilke Homes - this factory built housing is considered to be a quicker, more environmentally friendly way to create high quality homes, while construction in a controlled environment means factors such as bad weather, which would normally delay traditional construction, aren’t an issue.

Once onsite, each module of the home - split into ground, first and second floor - is craned into place. The house, which is already finished internally, is then connected to the groundworks and services.

Having also seen the benefits of modular construction at our Gateshead Innovation Village project, we look forward to utilisting modern methods of construction in other projects across the UK.
