Jackie is a long-standing housing professional in the Scottish affordable housing sector. She has almost 30 years’ experience in both housing associations and local authorities. Over the last 20 years, she has built up an extensive knowledge of developing new affordable homes in Scotland. She has worked in both new build and regeneration roles across Glasgow City Council and The Wheatley Group. She also has experience creating mixed tenure developments.
Jackie also brings a strong knowledge of asset strategy, asset management, and sustainability. She also knows the associated regulatory and policy environment. She has held non-executive roles with representative bodies, including Homes for Scotland and the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations.
She is now Chief Executive at Trust Housing Association, where she provides the strategic leadership and vision. They own and manage 4,000 affordable homes across Scotland. Jackie has a passion to make a difference to housing quality, the environment, and the lives of affordable housing customers.
