Gavin has over 35 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant in various sectors. For the last 14 years, he has been CFO at the Meallmore Group, which owns and operates 27 nursing homes in Scotland.
He has held several board positions in healthcare, leisure, and property. He is also a council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and chairs their oversight board. In 2025, he became an independent board member of Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport Limited.
