Catherine Wood (Mappin)

Catherine is a property professional with over 25 years of experience, spent in central and local Government and the private sector in Scotland and England. She is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Previously, she has worked within national planning and surveying consultancies in London and Glasgow. She has significant strategic planning and development experience; including master-planning and redeveloping mixed-use contaminated land opportunities in the northwest of England and Scotland. She set up and led the Scottish strategic land and planning team at Gladman Developments Ltd where she promoted and delivered land for housing to the development industry and affordable housing providers. In 2020, Catherine jointly established a new property venture with the estates & agency group. 

She is now working with Lovell Strategic Land as development director, heading the Northern division of the business, covering York north including Scotland and focusing on longer term housing opportunities of all tenures.
