Kobby Osei

Kobby is a British Army veteran whose career spans public service, financial regulation, and the legal profession. After leaving the Army, he dedicated several years to the Citizens Advice Bureau. He helped guide individuals through complex challenges. This including debt, homelessness, immigration issues, and access to benefits. Kobby then moved into the corporate legal sector as a paralegal with a Magic Circle law firm. He then joined the Financial Conduct Authority’s enforcement and market oversight division. Here, he helped safeguard the integrity of the UK’s financial system.

Kobby has held senior roles in high-value transaction management and securitisation as a security trustee, and in payments systems as a legal transaction manager. Across these positions, he has focused on promoting trust, stability, and fairness in complex financial and legal processes

He holds a Law degree and a Master’s in Law and Financial Law, and brings to the board a strong sense of public duty, combined with deep expertise in law and finance.
