We work with regulators to make sure that we deliver the right homes and services to our customers.

Regulator of Social Housing (RSH)

In England, we are regulated by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH). The RSH is a government body and it sets specific standards all registered providers have to meet. Standards cover how the business is run, how we manage risk, and how we maintain financial viability and ensure value for money alongside the services we provide directly to customers. We are currently rated at Governance 1 Viability 1, which is the highest rating.

Housing Ombudsman

The Housing Ombudsman is set up by law to look at complaints about housing organisations that are registered with it. Home Group Limited is a housing organisation registered with the Housing Ombudsman Service.

The Housing Ombudsman Service has recently published a new Complaints Handling Code which provides good practice for all landlords on fair and effective complaints handling. Home Group have produced a self-assessment against this new Complaints Handling Code and we have published this self-assessment below.
