Home Group appoints Head of Clinical Practice

Newly created role within Home Group is a first for the housing sector

Home Group, one of the UK’s largest provider of homes and integrated housing, health and social care, has today announced the appointment of Nichola Stefanou as Head of Clinical Practice.

This is a newly created senior role within Home Group which is developing its offer within the health and social care market. The role will support the growth of new services across Home Group as the organisation focuses on the needs of its customers whether in mental health, learning disabilities, or older person’s re-ablement.

Nichola joins from a role as Head of Quality within Gateshead Foundation Trust , has held several senior clinical roles across both acute and community healthcare settings and has worked in higher education. 

The Head of Clinical Practice will provide clinical leadership across Home Group’s care and support services, enhancing the current service offer and helping the organisation to develop new services in partnership with the NHS, in both primary and acute settings.

Rachael Byrne, Executive Director of New Models of Care commented; “We are delighted that Nichola is joining us. We have ambitious targets and demand by the NHS for our services is rapidly growing to deliver more and more services for supported customers. This role will be vital to do this.”

This role will oversee specialist clinical teams of mental health and learning disabilities experts.
