That’s why we’ve developed Home Group Deposit Builder. Just like it says on the tin, Deposit Builder is a savings scheme which will help you build up a mortgage deposit so that you can buy a homeHome Group customers and home ownership

from Home Group.

Deposit Builder is a bit different to other schemes you might have heard of, and will help you own a home by:

  • Giving you a discount of £50 a month from your rent with the discounted rent deal*

Once you’ve done this you’ll need to complete a short expression of interest form so we can send you an application form via email.

There’s also a few things you’ll need to include with your application form and these documents need to be certified copies or originals.

Do you qualify for Home Group deposit builder?

  • You’ve completed a starter tenancy of 12 months with Home Group or another public sector landlord
  • You intend to buy your current home or another Home Group property
  • Your rent account is up to date with no arrears
  • You have a good credit history and no current or pending other debt issues
  • There are no court proceedings about to be issued to you or any other tenant on your tenancy
  • You don’t claim (or intend to claim) housing benefit or Universal Credit
