For Home Group, regeneration is about more than bricks and mortar. We create sustainable communities by working closely with our customers and delivering support programmes around health, community development and training and employment.

When considering estate regeneration, our regeneration team works nationally to analyse the performance of our stock and estates. Home Group follows a detailed governance process to support the way it makes decisions about its homes, identifying opportunities to see if we can build better high quality new homes that are failing to meet the long-term aspirations for the needs of our current and future customers.

Our engagement and consultation strategies seek to work in partnership with our customers, young people and local stakeholders to ensure that they play an active role in shaping the future of their local communities and help promote social cohesion, well-being, and independence.

As a social enterprise and charity, all surplus made by our outright sales activity is reinvested into our communities. Our model of regeneration has recently been recognised when research by the London School of Economics into our flagship project in Rayners Lane, Harrow concluded that we have fulfilled our ambition to develop a highly recognised model of regeneration demonstrating that community engagement and involvement can deliver real physical renewal and continued social cohesion.
