Meet our partners

Read more below about our innovative partners and suppliers we're collaborating with for Gateshead Innovation Village and how they are contributing to this exciting project.

  • Homes England

    • Homes England is the new housing delivery organisation that has been created to adopt a more commercial approach to respond to the long term housing challenges facing this country. The new, expanded agency will play a far bigger role in investing in supply and intervening in the market to help deliver 300,000 homes a year by the middle of the next decade.

Homes England will act differently from its predecessor, bringing together money, land, expertise and planning and compulsory purchase powers to accelerate the supply of new homes and address affordability issues in areas of highest demand.

  • Elliott Associates

    • In this, Elliott Associates’ 30th year of successful trading as Chartered Quantity Surveyors and Cost Consultants, we are particularly pleased to be working with Home Group on this truly innovative project.

The majority of our commissions for the role of Employer’s Agent/Cost Consultant come from the affordable housing sector.  We work with the vast majority of regional RPs, together with a number of national RPs, and it is exceptionally important that we are at the forefront of current thinking.

In the past we were the first in the region to undertake a design and build project with a housing association.  In 2000 we undertook the first PPC2000 project, working with North British (now PfP) and the contract’s draftsman David Mosey.  More recently we were part of the team responsible for the delivery of Inside Housing’s Development of the Year, Eston Community Village.

We handle in excess of £60 million of residential development per annum.  Our appointment by Home to this innovative project is very important to us, we anticipate that much will be learnt about the delivery of Modular and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) during the life of the project and, as such, it will be a hugely important addition to our housing DNA.

We are excited about the challenges ahead and the pioneering approach by our client Home Group.
