Services for people with learning disabilities

We provide a range of services for people who have learning disabilities.

As everyone has a different set of needs we think it is vital to treat each person as an individual.

This means we can tailor our services to what will best help them.

Housing

•    We have options to offer various types of accommodation - for example independent supported living services, which are self-contained apartments with local support;

•    We also help clients living in standalone properties, working with them on them money management and budgeting skills.

Floating support

We offer flexible support packages tailored to meet the needs of clients and their families living independently in the community.

We can help clients play a part in their communities, encouraging them to get involved with, and use, local services including:
  • Health

    • Accessing health services including GPs, psychologists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, specialist liaison nurses and preventative health screening services.
  • Education & training

    • This is about developing knowledge and skills to help people into work, where appropriate.

      We also deliver specialist programmes giving parents with learning disabilities the opportunity to develop their parenting skills.
  • Employment

    • Access to volunteering opportunities, paid employment and apprenticeships.
  • Leisure

    • Supporting clients to enjoy trips and hobbies including going on holiday as well as accessing local leisure activities.
