Homelessness

Home Group understands that being homeless doesn’t always mean you’re sleeping rough.

Our services are also for people who are without settled, safe or secure accommodation – you may be sofa surfing, threatened with eviction or where you’re living may be unsuitable for a variety of reasons.

What do we offer?

•    Accommodation services - these can be in hostels, small shared houses or self-contained flats

•    Floating support services – where our staff come to see you wherever you are currently living

Referrals into our homeless services vary by location with many allowing for you to refer yourselves whilst others are accessed through the local authority’s housing teams.

If you find yourself in that position the first thing you should do is contact your local authority - you can find their contact details here.

We understand that individuals who are homeless often have other issues so we will work with you to look at all areas that you think you need help with.

These may include debt issues, mental health problems, substance misuse problems, learning disabilities or family / relationship breakdowns.

We work with each person as an individual and together we will put a support plan to look at each area that you need.
