      Myriam has a long and distinguished career holding a number of senior executive roles across the public and private sectors, specialising in business transformation and finance. She is a board member of the international standards-setting body for ethics, IESBA, and a non-executive member of the Audit and Risk Assurance committee of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. She previously served as the Chair of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and board member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, both global accounting bodies.

      Myriam describes her personal values as ‘social responsibility and customer focus’ and is looking forward to contributing her skills and experience to support the continued growth of Home Group in Scotland.

  • John Hudson

    • Appointed: September 2015

      John Hudson joined Home Group in June 2015 from Port of Tyne, one of the UK’s major deep-sea ports, where he had been CFO since 2009.

      His earlier career started in Science and Engineering after gaining a PhD in Solid State Physics from Durham University and a BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Leeds, which lead to research roles within British Nuclear Fuels and British Gas.

      At the age of 26, and after developing a strong interest in business and management, he embarked upon a career change and completed his chartered accountancy qualification with Deloitte in 1998. Since then, John has enjoyed senior finance roles within Black & Decker, taking the finance lead in relocating their largest European manufacturing plant, before moving on to the private equity owned radiator and boiler manufacturer Ideal Stelrad Group. More latterly John was CFO at the Port of Tyne with responsibility for Finance, Legal, IT and co-ordination of strategic and risk planning through a period of record growth at the organisation.

      Bob retired in May 2015 after 41 years working in Housing, latterly as the Chief Executive of Trust Housing Association. 

      His long career in housing includes working in a variety of roles across Scotland, within Local Government, Livingston Development Corporation and most recently two Housing Associations as Chief Executive. During his career he was an active participant and a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. His support for the Institute continues since he now acts as a mentor for the Institute as well as being an adjudicator within the Fellowship Admission Process. 

      Bob is a statutory Appointee for the Scottish Housing Regulator and has been appointed to the governing bodies of Dalmuir Park Housing Association and Fairfield Housing Co-operative. He is also a Board Member of Horizon and Muirhouse Housing Associations where he is currently the Chair of the Audit & Risk Sub Committee and Chair of the Board, respectively.  Bob also acts as a mentor with the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and ACOSVO.

      Ian has over 25 years’ experience in property asset management and development across both the public and private sectors. He is Group Property Director at  Rolls-Royce Plc and worked previously at Network Rail in a similar position. Ian has also considerable experience and interest in health & safety, investment , project management & sustainability. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

  • Annie Mauger Thompson

      Annie is an experienced senior executive in the not for profit sector and now runs her own consultancy company supporting different organisations in the housing and charity sector.

      After a management career in local authorities in Scotland and England, Annie was appointed CEO of a government agency, went on to run a charity for refugees and asylum seekers in Yorkshire and then became chief executive of a UK wide membership body.

      Annie spent the last few years as Executive Director for the Devolved Nations with the Chartered Institute of Housing working closely with a wide range of housing bodies and government in Scotland as a passionate advocate for the sector.

  • Gillian Campbell

      Gillian is an independent housing consultant with over 20 years’ experience working with local government and housing associations. 

      Gillian led the development and delivery of HouseMark Scotland’s business insight and solutions services, before leaving to set up Gillian Campbell Consulting in 2018.

      Whilst working with City of Edinburgh Council, Gillian led on housing strategy, Housing Revenue Account business planning and performance management.

      Previously, Gillian worked with Spelthorne Borough Council in Surrey, where she collaborated with a range of agencies to develop domestic abuse services and improve access to housing for offenders.  Prior to this, Gillian worked in housing management.
