Home appoints new Chief Executive 

The 45-year-old has joined from Northumberland County Council, where he spent five years as Chief Executive, transforming the authority into one of the best performing in the UK.

Before this, he served as an Operations Director at Regional Development Agency One North East. Mark started his career in Scotland working in a number of local government roles in Dundee, Angus and Dunfermline.

He has an extensive and highly successful track record in leadership, transformational change, regeneration, politics and customer services delivery.
 
Mark said: “I want Home to provide outrageously good customer service and create incredible estates and communities. Throughout my career I have never settled for second best and I am passionate about ensuring that Home becomes 'best in class' and a truly innovative leader in our sector.”
