My interests revolve around water…whether sailing, jet skiing or just plodging in rock pools! I am inspired by the life and works of Scotia’s Bard Robert Burns whose humanity and belief in social justice are as important today as in Burns’ time.
I intend to bring the same commitment, passion and attention to detail that I deliver at work to ensure that Home Group moves forward to the mutual benefit of customers of Home.
Linda Swanton

I was introduced to Home in 2005 after being homeless. I was given the opportunity to work on a self build project to help build my own home.
I have a passion for life and I love connecting with people and empowering others into their own lives.
I am looking forward to making a difference!
Saraj Mohammed
The development of others is what I get most motivation and satisfaction from, and empowering others to achieve their full potential is what drives me.
My endeavours will focus on empowering individuals and working in partnership with customers and colleagues to bring about improvements for everyone. Working cohesively we can all achieve our ambitions.
David Skeel
I feel privileged to be part of the Home Customer Panel. I have knowledge and experience of housing solutions, due to my time working in both commercial and residential property management, and hope to put this to good use.
Although I also understand people’s care and support needs, from my time working as a carer. I will give sound and fair advice to Home, and hope my voluntary role will add value to all Home customers and improve the organisation moving forward.
Ewan Thomson
My wife and I have been customers of Home in Dundee for 11 years. I think it’s essential that customers are represented.
I was a Senior Management Services Officer with Dundee City Council for 34 years. This involved day to day negotiations, communications, interviews with employers and of the council. I am confident I’ll be a reliable panel member.
Arthur Whitfield
I am interested in supporting Home and keen to be involved in how the business is run.
I am looking forward to working with Home to progress as one whole business, working completely together as one whole happy family…we recognise we have a way to go and by working collaboratively and encouraging strong partnerships we can benefit all.
Dorothy Cox
I am keen to put something back into the community so being part of the panel gives me a great opportunity to do this.
I feel very privileged to champion your corner. I am here for you, not for myself and my door is always open.
Duncan James
I am delighted to be part of the Home customer panel, as an area representative for the North West. I’ve been involved with Home for many years, and have had an active role in the Equality and Diversity Strategy Group. However, I feel in my new role, I’ll be able to give an honest and open view on the plans for Home moving forward.
I enjoy working as part of a team, and I feel as a group we can make some radical changes for the better to Home and its customers.
Allan Harley
My real customer involvement started over 15 years ago when I became involved in problems in my local area. This encouraged me to become more involved with other customers.
Of course there have been ups and downs but I can safely say more ups than downs!
I want to have real contact with Home customers to help develop their desire to lead the changes, not just follow Home’s lead!
