tsa local service standards pilot

We are working on a pilot project to develop local service standards with customers in the Workington and Seaton neighbourhood. This is being developed in partnership with Impact Housing Association, Derwent and Solway Housing Association, Westfield Housing and the Tenant Services Authority.

Customers from all of the associations are working together to develop local service standards via a working group of customer representatives in three service areas. These are Anti-social Behaviour, Repairs and Maintenance and Customer Service and Choice.

Aim of the pilot

The aim of the pilot is to ensure that the services offered to existing and future customers are of a similar standard, reflect local priorities and what is important to the customer, regardless of their landlord and to enhance the customer experience.

New standards will be developed for 1 April 2010 with a requirement for the development of working practices to meet the standards, how performance against the standards should be measured, published and how the local scrutiny of services might develop. The new standards will be monitored from April 2010 – September 2010.
