New Homes
We know local residents want their homes to be well designed and in keeping with other properties in the area. We want to provide a mix of homes for sale, affordable rent and shared ownership. The development of new housing will lead to a stronger and more sustainable community with a broader range of economic activity. Every house will enjoy a private back garden, all ground floor flats will have a garden or patio and each flat will have a balcony and access to a communal garden.
Environmental sustainability
All our homes will be built to high quality standards being well insulated to retain heat and reduce noise transmission. The south-facing slope at Dollis Valley also provides an excellent opportunity to include passive solar design features to support energy saving measures in the new homes. We will be consulting with residents about other energy saving opportunities too.
In keeping with the neighbourhood
We know from local residents that they want to feel part of the surrounding neighbourhood. Creating a new road network in a traditional street format will totally change the feel and appearance of Dollis Valley making it more in keeping with the adjoining suburban area. The new tree-lined streets will be well lit, providing clear safe routes for pedestrians.

Our design complements the natural valley slope. We know local people do not want tower blocks. This is why the tallest buildings, our apartments for sale, will be set in the valley (the lowest part of the site). And new buildings will not greatly exceed the height of existing properties. There will be a wide tree-lined central boulevard so residents will not feel enclosed. Working our way outwards from the centre, there will be lower smaller blocks an then houses on the edge of the development.
This approach maximises views across the green belt.
