Getting better

Diagnosing Repairs

We have introduced a new method of diagnosing repairs, called Job Locater Plus. This helps to get more repairs RIGHT FIRST TIME, reducing the need to call at your home more than once and completing jobs on our first visit

We have also developed a range of mechanisms with contractors, where we use them, and with our own direct work force, which enable us to communicate with them more efficiently and speed up the completion of repairs.

Safe as houses

An excellent, new gas servicing system has been installed ensuring that all gas and solid fuel servicing is carried out properly and promptly as well as making sure our customers’ homes are warm and fuel efficient

We have also arranged for the installation of Carbon Monoxide detectors in your homes.

No complaints about complaints

Home wants to provide good quality services but we do recognise that from time to time we do get things wrong.

We successfully resolved 94% of your complaints but our record of dealing with them in our stated timescale is poor and we are aiming to make a major improvements in this area in the coming months.

Complaints logging

We now have a new ‘complaints logging’ computer system which is helping us to understand our overall performance and identify what we need to change to make our services better. We are getting better but we want to be excellent!

We’re not afraid of receiving of receiving complaints as we really need to learn from the things that go wrong. By learning from them it will allow us to achieve our goal of always offering an excellent service, which we are consistently improving.
