What we offer?

A support and development plan, identifying your needs and goals, is drawn up with you and your Link Worker and worked through during your stay.  An area of the Plan focuses on assisting you to learn to live within the boundaries of a Housing Agreement, with a view to you being able to sustain your accommodation both in the short term and in the future.

Support services include:

  • Emotional support – providing emotional and general support to you and enabling you to find solutions to your problems.
  • Personal development – promoting and facilitating personal development, self esteem, assertiveness, confidence and independence.
  • Practical support – assisting you to acquire practical skills, such as maintaining basic nutrition and hygiene, as well as learning to manage money.
  • Advocacy and advice – offering advice and assistance in understanding the benefit system in order to successfully claim benefits, and to assist in accessing agencies available in the community, including training and employment.
  • Resettlement – assisting you to secure longer term sustainable accommodation, appropriate to your needs, either initially through the services’ own move-on housing, or through the local council and other housing providers.
  • Promoting non-offending behaviour – through challenging anti-social and/or offending behaviour and by supporting and assisting residents to complete Community-based Orders.
