The Home Board is responsible for the overall direction of Home and its strategy and has ultimate responsibility for the conduct of its business. It reserves certain key decisions to the board itself - for example approving Home's budget, financial forecasts and plans - and it monitors overall performance. It meets six times a year and more frequently if required.
Rod Bennion MRICS, FRSA

Background: Rod became Home Chairman in January 2007. He is chairman of McNicholas Holdings, Shield Environmental Services Ltd and NMBS, a mutual society, and chairman of two charities, the Construction Youth Trust and St Christopher’s Hospice. Rod spent forty years in the construction industry, latterly as Chief Operating Officer of the Wates Group. He champions modern methods of procurement and an integrated approach to community development.
Expertise: Large scale procurement and construction. Substantial experience of house building both in social housing and the private sector.
Fra Cooke MA

Background: Fra is Chair of Stonham. He has over thirty years experience of business management in a variety of senior roles and has been a housing association board member for ten years.
Expertise: Strategy and competitive markets, governance and financial control.
Nigel Fee BSc

Background: Having held director posts with several private house builders, Nigel has an extensive knowledge of housing development, finance and planning, and particularly of their interdependence and interaction.
Expertise: commerciality, negotiation, strategy and structure.
Andrea Gregory CIPD, MBA

Background: Andrea is an experienced HR professional, who has been working in and with organisations in both the private and public sectors on developing leaders, organisational development, learning and development, strategy development and change management. She is a non-executive Director of the Highways Agency in the UK.
Expertise: Human resources, organisational development and training, supporting organisations in strategy development and change management.
Richard Raeburn MA, MBA, FCT

Background: Richard is Chairman of the Audit Committee. He was most recently Chief Executive of The Association of Corporate Treasurers and a Trustee of the ACT Educational Trust. He previously worked in financial and strategic roles for a number of international groups and was for nine years a partner at KPMG Consulting. He is now Chairman of the European Association of Corporate Treasurers, a board member of Wandle Housing, a London-based housing association, and a Trustee of St Christopher’s Hospice.

Christine Turner BA (Hons)

Background: Christine is Chair of Housing Operations. She is a Housing Consultant and has over twenty five years experience in the housing association sector. She has been a housing association board member for over twelve years.

Pamela Woodburn MSc, MCIH

Background: Pamela is Chair of Home Scotland. She is a senior director with Scottish Enterprise with responsibility for property development. She is also a board member of a number of property companies. She has over twenty years’ experience in housing and is a member of the Institute of Housing.

Graham Wright MA, FRSA

Background: Graham is a Consultant and former Senior Partner with Dickinson Dees LLP, a leading law firm. His other activities include chairing Bellway plc’s Pension Fund Trustees and conducting independent dispute resolution for another substantial pension fund.
